I saw it on opening day.
I cried because I saw someone I love reflected in the Michael on screen.
I understood him — the version of him living, breathing, working in places I can't see.
And I understood something else too: things aren't always what they look like.
There's a scene where Michael argues with his father, storms out, and asks his driver to just drive.
Fans are waiting outside the gate. He puts on sunglasses, forces a smile, and waves from the car window.
To the fans, he looks like a perfect star.
But minutes earlier, his father's words had hurt him. The sunglasses weren't for style — they were to hide the tears.
Scenes like that happen in ordinary life too.
People who look happy, quietly enduring sadness. Things that look beautiful, carrying something ugly underneath.
And the reverse is true too.
Hard days, quietly building the capacity to receive something bigger later. "My dream still feels so far" — while underground, something huge is under construction.
Things are never exactly what they look like. The good, and the not-so-good.
But zoomed out, everything is right on time, moving in order, moving forward.
Like a seed underground, breaking into a sprout, one ordinary day.
